9:00 to 9.45am: Clubs arrive, register and have team photo taken
10:00: Assemble for Welcome on pitch in front of clubhouse
10:10: National Anthem
10:15: Parade
10:30: Rnd.1 games start
13:00: Staggered Lunches
16:00: Presentations
Format & Rules
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS NOT THE ALL-IRELAND - THIS IS A FUN TOURNAMENT WITH ENJOYMENT AND SAFETY OF ALL CHILDREN AS NO.1 PRIORITY
• All Teams will play 5 matches
• Pitches size 80m x 40m (approx)
• All games are 10 a-side (1, 3,3,3) . Run on/run off substitutions.
• Two 10 minute halves – 2 min break for half time .
• Games will start and end on a Hooter
• Visiting Teams to supply regulation smart touch footballs for games
• Players, Coaches & Supporters to respect officials - there will be a pitch Co -Ordinator at each pitch - they will ensure that this is enforced
• SCORING : A kicked or fisted point = 3 points ( Go Game rules). A Goal = 1 point (Go Game rules)
• Only the referee will record the score
• The morning group stages will be used as the basis for matching teams of similar ability for rounds 4 and 5 after lunch
• All free kicks to be taken by the player fouled.
• Side line balls and 45’s to be taken by nearest player
• Players are limited to two plays e.g. one hop & one solo. 4 steps rule applies.
• ALL players MUST wear gumshields
• Goalkeeper to advance 10 steps for kick outs
• Pitch umpires will be supplied by Celbridge GAA
• Referee's decision is final.
• Should 2 teams have the same colours, 1 team should turn their jersey inside out or wear bibs
• There will be no Finals and no winning team trophy. Each team will be presented with 15 medals and a team trophy
